The water runs, ebbs and flows
down through rivers and streams below
the sparkling light, reflective surface
captures life in the fruitless searches
of water wanting to join the ocean
much like me and my emotions
I will flow on through many a day
hoping for direction and not lead astray.
And my intentions, crystal clear
will remain pure as babies tears.
When i have come upon the setting sun
I will join it there and be as one.
